This August we’ve been busy working to make the interior of the reception barn be a little more “us” while still maintaining the clean lined, elegant charm of the original. We debated for quite some time over how we could give the interior space a unique focal point. One day a light bulb went off when we were looking through our collection of discarded window panes in the Vista West greenhouse. Pieced together like a puzzle we hung over 15 eclectic (in size, style, and color) vintage window panes creating a beautiful backdrop and visual break in the room.

Next we considered lighting options and toyed around with multiple styles and ideas. Again the lightbulb went off one night and the boss man, Joe, woke up the following morning and went to work on developing a tomato cage chandelier prototype. Who knew that tomato cages straight from the garden, barbed wire and festoon lighting could look so cool together?

Excited with the progress that had been made we teamed up with the uber talented Lacey Seymour of Lacey Seymour Photography and the floral magicians at Petal Pushers to help us bring to life our newly remastered space.

**As of September the chandelier prototype has been perfected and three perfectly executed versions hang inside our barn creating a one of a kind lighting feature for receptions.
